Inclement Weather Policy

Your health and safety is of utmost importance to us. Therefore, we do not want you traveling unnecessarily in unsafe circumstances. If you feel that you are not able to get here safely, do not try to come in. In case of bad weather, the physicians will determine whether/when to open based on Austin School District announcements. Please listen to your radio and/or television for the announcements of Austin School District closings or late openings. 

1. If the Austin School District (AISD) is closed:
   1. The center will cancel treatments until at least 10:00 a.m.
   2. The decision to close for the remainder of the day will be made by the physicians and administration based on updated weather information.
   3. A therapist or nurse will call you to reschedule or cancel your appointment.
2. If the Austin School District opens late:
   1. The center will begin treatments one (1) hour after the announced Austin School District opening time.
   2. If your appointment is scheduled before the late opening, a therapist or nurse will call you to reschedule or cancel your appointment.
   3. If your appointment is scheduled after the late opening, please plan to come at your scheduled time.
