Paiman Ghafoori, MD
Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist

Being an oncologist is a tremendous privilege. I am deeply inspired by my patients and the courage and resilience they demonstrate every day. Their example has motivated me to achieve the best possible training and experience in order to take care of my patients. As I did during my training years at Harvard and Duke, I pride myself in working hard every day to make state-of- the-art cancer therapy available for all patients seeking treatment. I am proud to be a part of the community in Austin and am excited to be a part of an oncology team that is based in the Central Texas area. I believe that this is an essential element of our group – the ability to focus and tailor our cancer care for our community. Cancer is a frightening diagnosis and the fight against it deserves the utmost dedication and diligence. It also calls for compassion and the ability to address each patient’s individual needs. I strive to combine my expertise with personal and compassionate care for each of my patients. As I see it, there is no greater privilege than to be there for my patients in their moment of need.
